VTU Grading System
The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) adopts absolute grading system wherein the marks obtained are converted to grades, and every semester results will be announced with semester grade point average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

How to Check VTU Results?
To check your VTU results, please follow the process mentioned below:
- First, visit results.vtu.ac.in and click on the result link for the examination you want to check, which is titled with the month and year of the examination.
- Under the four tabs (CBCS, CBCS RV, NON-CBCS, NON-CBCS RV), click on the relevant tab.
- Then, click on the link for the result you want to check, titled with the scheme, course, and semester.
- Enter your USN number, enter the captcha, and click the submit button.
How to Check VTU Revaluation Results?
To check your VTU revaluation results, please follow the process mentioned below:
- First, visit results.vtu.ac.in and click on the result link for the examination you want to check the RV results, which is titled with the month and year of the examination.
- Under the four tabs choose CBCS RV or NON-CBCS RV depending upon your scheme.
- Then, click on the RV link for the result you want to check, titled with the scheme, course, and semester.
- Enter your USN number, captcha, and click the submit button.

How do I get all my SEM VTU results?
To view VTU results for all semesters, first visit vtustudent.in/vtu-results/. Then select the semester-exam year and month, and hit the submit button.
What is CBCS & Non-CBCS schemes in VTU?
CBCS stands for Choice Based Credit System, and Non-CBCS stands for Non-Choice Based Credit System. The schemes introduced from 2015 onwards are CBCS schemes, while schemes introduced before 2015 are Non-CBCS schemes.
Will VTU announce results on Sunday?
Yes, sometimes VTU announces results on Sundays as well.
