How to Apply for VTU Provisional Degree Certificate?

Step 1: Log in to the VTU EDDTS portal using your USN & Password. (If you haven’t registered on the VTU EDDTS portal yet, click here for a demo)
Step 2: Click on the Apply Documents option in the menu.
Step 3: Select Provisional Degree Certificate (UG/PG) from the drop-down menu and click on the Submit button.
Step 4: Fill in all the required details, such as your program type (CBCS or Non-CBCS), the month and year of passing the final semester examination, nationality, and postal or communication address.
Step 5: Verify the entered information carefully and submit your application.
Step 6: Pay the applicable fees for PDC using the Pay Fees option. This will redirect you to the payment gateway web page. Complete the payment process online using UPI, net banking, or any other available payment mode.
Step 7: Once the payment is successful, you will receive a transaction ID, and an email confirmation will also be sent to you.
Step 8: Finally, click on the Final Submission option to confirm your PDC application. Without final submission after the payment, your PDC application will not be processed by VTU backend operators.

How to Check the Status of VTU PDC in EDDTS Portal?
You can track the progress of your VTU PDC application using the following steps:
Step 1: Log in to the VTU EDDTS portal.
Step 2: Click on the Submitted Applications option in the menu.
Step 3: Locate your application for the PDC and click on the Track button to view the current status.
Important Instructions for VTU PDC Application
- Please note that the Provisional Degree Certificate will be issued only to students who graduated in the current academic year. It will not be issued to students who graduated in previous academic years, if they apply in the current year.
- If you do not receive a confirmation message for the PDC payment within 24 hours, contact VTU’s EDDTS support team at eddts@vtu.ac.in or 0831-2498131.
- Ensure all details entered in your PDC application are correct, as errors cannot be edited after the payment is made.
- Keep your PDC payment receipt and transaction ID for future reference.
