The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) adopts absolute grading system wherein the marks obtained are converted to grades, and every semester results will be announced with semester grade point average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

What is CBCS & Non-CBCS schemes in VTU?
CBCS stands for Choice Based Credit System, and Non-CBCS stands for Non-Choice Based Credit System. The schemes introduced from 2015 onwards are CBCS schemes, while schemes introduced before 2015 are Non-CBCS schemes.
Will VTU announce results on Sunday?
Yes, sometimes VTU announces results on Sundays as well.
