How to Apply for VTU Transcripts in VTU EDDTS Portal?
Follow these steps to apply for VTU Transcripts through the EDDTS portal:
Step 1: Log in to the VTU EDDTS portal using your credentials such as USN & Password. (If you are not a registered user on the VTU EDDTS portal yet, click here for a demo)
Step 2: Now, Click on the Apply Document option in the menu.
Step 3: Select Official Transcript option from the drop-down list and click on the Submit button.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, such as your month and year of degree completion, status at the time of application (select ‘Applying after completion of Degree‘ or ‘Applying before completion of Degree‘ whichever is applicable), complete postal address, and the number of transcript copies required.
Step 5: Confirm the entered details in the online application for official transcript carefully and click Submit button.
(Note: Students from autonomous colleges under VTU must obtain transcripts directly from their respective colleges. VTU transcripts are issued only for students of VTU and its affiliated colleges.)
Step 6: Proceed to the payment by selecting the Pay Fees option. This will redirect you to the payment gateway page. Complete the payment for transcripts online using UPI, net banking, or any other available methods.
Step 7: After successful payment, you will receive a transaction ID and an email confirmation.
Step 8: Finally, click on the Final Submission option to complete the application process for VTU transcripts. (Note: Applications for transcripts will not be processed without final submission by applicant after payment)

Step 1: To Track VTU Transcripts Status, First Log in to the VTU EDDTS portal.
Step 2: Now, Click the Submitted Applications option.
Step 3: Find your transcript application and click the Track button to view the current status.
Important Instructions for VTU Transcripts Application
- Ensure all details entered in the online application for VTU Transcript are accurate, as errors cannot be edited after submission.
- Keep your payment receipt and transaction ID safe for future reference.
- If you do not receive a payment confirmation regarding application for VTU Transcript within 24 hours, contact VTU’s EDDTS support team at eddts@vtu.ac.in or 0831-2498131.
- Note that transcripts will be dispatched to the postal address provided during application, so ensure the address is accurate.
